Payment Options & Information

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and Gift Certificates.

When do you charge my credit card?
Your credit card will be charged when we receive your order, and have verified availability and accurate pricing on the order.

Do you charge sales tax?
Bluewinggallery.com is located in Woodland, CA and is required by law to collect sales tax on orders shipped within the state. If your purchase is being shipped outside California, no sales tax will be collected.

What if I do not want to place my order over the internet?
Placing your order over the Internet is extremely safe and very convenient. According to the FTC, it is actually safer to use your credit card over a secure server than to use it in a restaurant or department store. However - if you are concerned about placing your order over the Internet we would be happy to take your order over the phone by calling us at 1-530-402-2393 or you may fax your order to 1-530-402-2399. Be sure to include in your fax, the artist, title and the Item # from the Order Detail page.

Shipping Information

What is the cost of shipping?
Shipping (including handling and insurance) of each framed item (over $50) within the continental US is $35.99 for Zone 1, $27.99 for Zone 2, and $24.99 for Zone 3. Please refer to the map below.

 

 

All orders to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico will be charged UPS air rates. All unframed items and framed items under $50 will be charged standard UPS rates. Shipping charges may vary on selected promotional items.

Do you ship overseas?
Bluewinggallery.com will be happy to ship your package outside of the Continental United States. However, at this time we cannot calculate the shipping cost at the point-of-sale but would be happy to quote the cost of an out-of-state shipment cost for you. Please email us at cust.serv@bluewinggallery.com with the item(s) you would like to ship and we will try to reply the next business day. Be sure to include the artist, title, item number (found on the Item Detail page), frame option specification (if applicable) for each item, as well as your name and daytime phone number. You may also call us at 1-530-402-2393 or you may fax your inquiry to 1-530-402-2399

Bluewinggallery.com uses FedEx as our international freight carrier. All items in your order must be in stock and framed before it ships. The shipping charge for an order is based on the size, weight, number of packages and shipping destination. You may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the package reaches your destination country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. Additionally, when ordering from Bluewinggallery.com, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods.

Do you ship to a post office box?
We use UPS and FedEx to deliver our products. Neither of them will deliver to post office boxes. We can ONLY ship orders to a street address.

Can I have my order sent to a different address?
Yes - For your protection we use AVS (address verification) and require a correct billing address that matches your credit card statement, but we can ship to any address. Simply provide your Bill to and Ship to addresses during checkout.

Special Orders & Back Orders

What if I can't find the print I'm looking for?
If you do not find the piece you are seeking on our website, we will gladly attempt to locate it for you, frame it and offer it to you at the lowest possible price! Simply fill out the Online Form with as much information regarding the piece as possible. (Artist, title, medium as well as where you saw the artwork) and be sure to include your name and email address.

What if my artwork is discontinued or backordered?
Despite our efforts to accurately maintain our inventory and availability, occasionally a source or publisher may suddenly run out of, or discontinue an image. Every effort is made on our part to prevent this occurrence by constantly monitoring availability. If, however the ordered item should “sell out” or become discontinued, we will immediately notify you via email and credit your charge card in the full amount of the ordered item. If an item is back-ordered, you will immediately be notified via email and you may elect to either wait for the item or cancel the ordered item. It is your responsibility to respond to us within 30 days of your email notification or the order will automatically be cancelled and the full amount of the back-ordered item will be credited to your charge card. If the back-ordered item is part of a multiple order, we will hold the available item(s) until you notify us of your decision, or we will happily ship the available items and complete your order upon availability of the back-ordered item ( at no additional charge to you). It is therefore very important that you respond to your email notification as soon as possible.

Returns & Damaged Orders

What if my order arrives damaged?
If your order arrives damaged, email us at cust.serv@bluewinggallery.com as to the nature of the problem. We will email you the next business day as to how we will rectify the problem. If it is a manufacturing defect, we would typically send a Call Tag to pick up the artwork and make the necessary repair. If the shipping company was responsible for the damage, we would contact them and have it inspected and subsequently returned to us. In either case we guarantee to make the necessary repair and return it to you within seven days of our receiving the damages item back at our facility. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU KEEP ALL OF THE ORIGINAL PACKING MATERIAL. DO NOT send back a damaged item for any reason without a Return Authorization (RMA) number from Bluewinggallery.com. The RMA# will be included in our email response to your original damage claim.

What is your return policy?
At Bluewinggallery.com, your COMPLETE SATISFACTION IS GUARANTEED! If for any reason you are not 100% satisfied with your framed purchase (except Canvas Transfers, GICLEES), you may return it within 15 days of receipt and receive a full refund or exchange. (less the original shipping cost that Bluewinggallery.com incurred) - No Questions Asked! STORE CREDIT ONLY ON CANVAS TRANSFERS AND GICLEES. Bluewinggallery.com does not offer refunds or exchanges on unframed items. To return your order, simply email us at cust.serv@bluewinggallery.com to obtain a Return Authorization (RMA) number. Then pack the piece in its original packaging and mail it to Bluewinggallery 405 Main St. Woodland, CA  95695. Please be sure to write the RMA# on the shipping label or clearly on the outside of the returning package. Upon receipt of the artwork, we will gladly refund the purchase price of the item (LESS THE ORIGINAL SHIPPING COST THAT Bluewinggallery.com INCURRED) to your credit card. Along with the RMA# you receive, we will notify you of the original shipping cost. PLEASE BE ADVISED-YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR RETURN SHIPPING COSTS!!

Can I return an item I received as a gift?
We will gladly accept a gift return for exchange (less the original shipping cost that Bluewinggallery.com incurred)within (15) days from the date of shipment. The value of the replacement item (plus S&H) may not exceed the value of the returned item.

Does Bluewinggallery.com have a guarantee?
At Bluewinggallery.com, we work hard to provide you with the highest quality shopping experience and we stand behind everything we sell. If however, for any reason you are not 100% satisfied with your framed order from Bluewinggallery.com, you may return it within 15 days of receipt and receive a refund. STORE CREDIT ONLY ON CANVAS TRANSFERS, GICLEES. Please see our Return Policy  Our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee applies to framing materials and workmanship as well. We strive to bring the highest-quality product at the best price, but we are only near-perfect. Can I have you frame a print I already own?
Absolutely! Just contact us and let us know what you would like and we will be glad to quote you.

Can I purchase just a frame, mat, or glass?
We are an art and custom-framing company and do not sell picture framing supplies.

Do you offer single, double or triple matting?
Depending on the artwork we may offer all three! Our professional designers choose the appropriate matte combination to enhance each image.

Can I select my own mat and frame combinations?
Yes- for retail customers only. Choose from a wide variety of mat and frame combinations to achieve the look you desire.

Why is there a limited number of frame style choices for retail customers"?
Bluewinggallery.com’s experienced frame designers have created what we believe are the best mat and frame combinations that will surely satisfy any customer and fit into a variety of décor settings. If you would like to select your own mat and frame combinations, simply  If you have special needs and would like us to alter a frame/mat combination, we would be happy to accommodate you. Simply email us at sp.frames@bluewinggallery.com with your request. Please be as specific as possible about your preference and be sure to include your name, telephone number and your email address.

Why is there only five framing choices on the wholesale items?
Simply stated, we frame with more than five styles of frames however from past experience we had to define a limit due to volume purchasing of mouldling. If we only frame one piece using only one style then we are not able to to get the best price on moulding.  So we know that we always have five styles that we can offer for the best prices for you. You can take a look at our framing samples here. In order to make these items available for immediate shipment, we choose a mat(s) and frame combination for each and our designers are required to select what they consider “the best” treatment for each work. If you would like to request a variation to the framing shown on a particular item, we will be happy to consider that request. Please email us at sp.frames@bluewinggallery.com and we will promptly inform you as to the cost and availability of your request, via return email but we could not ship that item “the next business day” and the order would be treated as a Non-express item and would ship to you in 2-3 weeks.

Can I order an unframed print?
Yes, if you are a retail customer. If you would like to purchase an unframed print, you will need to contact us so we can quote you a price. un.framedprints@bluewinggallery.com Bluewinggallery.com does not offer refunds or exchanges on unframed items.

What type of glass do you use?
Picture Perfect Protection: Bluewinggallery.com pictures are framed with Plexiglas®, the world's best known acrylic sheet, offers greater versatility and protection than glass. Up to 17 times stronger and less than half the weight of an equivalent piece of glass, our Picture Perfect Protection acrylic products allow for lower shipping costs and less breakage.

What is a Canvas Transfer or Giclee?
Canvas Transfer: This technique simulates the rich texture and appearance of an original oil painting. Using a chemical process, the image on your print is lifted from the paper and transferred onto a 7 ounce, acrylic-primed, 100% cotton duck canvas. As an added option, you can also have a studio artist apply brush strokes by hand in a light, medium, or heavy coating of clear acrylic paint. Simulating the original brushwork of the art print, the brush strokes will add visual and textural depth to your canvas (it is particularly effective with impressionist images). The print is cropped to the image, and the canvas is stretched onto a custom-cut wooden support frame (called "stretcher bars"). This lightweight, hand-stretched canvas can hang as is, or can accommodate an additional frame, although no glass or protective top is required.

Giclee: (zhe-clay') is French for "squirt." The giclee printing process involves squirting microscopic dots of ink onto fine quality paper or canvas. On paper, the inks are actually absorbed slightly and blend to create fine art reproductions that are often indistinguishable from the originals. On canvas, the process yields prints of stunning vibrancy and realism. 

Ordering Information

Can I cancel my order after it has been submitted?
If for any reason you would like to cancel your order, you may do so at any time prior to shipment. Simply email us at Cancellations@Bluewinggallery.com and be sure to include your Name and your Order number. We will advise you, via email if the piece was shipped prior to our receiving your email. If it was already shipped, we will include a Return Authorization (RA) number. When you receive the artwork, please write the RMA# on the box and mail it back to: Blue Wing Gallery 405 Main St. Woodland, CA  95695.

We will credit your charge card as soon as we have received your return shipment at our facility. If your order hasn’t shipped prior to your notifying us that you want to cancel the sale, we will simply credit your charge card in the full amount of the purchase price.

Can you confirm the price for me before I order?
You will always be shown the total amount, including tax and shipping charges (if applicable), on your Order Confirmation before you submit your order for processing. After we receive your order we will verify the price and notify you if there is any change.

How do I Check Out?
Once you have finished placing artwork(s) in your shopping cart, you can review them by clicking on the "Basket Contents" icon on the middle section of your screen. Or you can go directly to the check out screen. Once you go to the checkout page, you will then be prompted to enter in your billing and shipping information, simply follow the online prompts to complete your order.

How do I order a gift certificate?
Bluewinggallery.com Gift Certificates can be easily purchased on our website. To order a gift certificate, select Gift Certificates from the links on any one of our pages. From there, select the link to Purchase a Gift Certificate where you will be ask for the appropriate information and can begin the ordering process. Our Paper certificates make a great looking gift and should arrive in 3 to 7 business days.

When will I receive my order?
Items normally ship in 2-3 weeks. Once the order leaves our location, UPS delivery time within the U.S. ranges from 2 - 7 days. Or Sooner depending upon the carrier that we choose. You may view your the tracking of your order by clicking the shipping company logos.

Are the prices I see on the site guaranteed?
Although we strive to have the most accurate prices on our site, from time to time errors will occur. When you place your order you will receive an automatic confirmation. Before charging your credit card we review every order. If there is ever an error we will inform you. We also provide price protection for 30 days. If we discount an item that you have purchased within the last 30 days you are eligible for a refund of the difference between the new price and the current price.

What if I forgot my username and password?
If you have forgotten your username or password, go to the Sign In Page page and click on "I've forgotten my password." Enter your e-mail address as instructed and your username and password will be sent emailed to you immediately. Click here now if you have forgotten your password.

Can I change my e-mail address and/or password?
Yes-Simply log in to your account by. Once you have logged in, follow the instructions.

How do I place artwork in my shopping cart?
Once you have found the artwork you would like to purchase, simply click the "Add One To Basket or Buy One Now " button. This button can be found below the artwork. Once you click the "Add One To Basket" link, you will be taken to your shopping cart where you can see all of the items in your cart and begin the checkout process.

Miscellaneous

Do you offer a catalog?
In as much as we would like to. Many of the images on our website are limited edition graphics or original artworks and this prevents us from offering a catalog. Even if we could, a catalog would soon be obsolete due to the fact that many of the images would be sold out by the time the catalog was produced. Additionally, our extensive and ever-changing selection makes it virtually impossible to maintain an up-to-date catalog.

Do you sell wholesale?
Yes as the link implies wholesale pricing. If you are a Non-Profit Organization or a interior designer or a large corporate customer. You just need to sign up online and after we verify your organization you will then be able to log in to see wholesale prices.

Can I sell my artwork through Bluewinggallery.com?
Not at this time.

How does Bluewinggallery.com select the images it offers?

Currently we do not have and affiliate program.
