Historic Woodland Downtown, CA –Let’s Face It will feature artist
Skip Lee, Skip is most known for his vibrant abstract paintings. For this exhibit however Skip broadened his horizons by combining recognizable images/faces rendered with the delicate line of a pencil surrounded by saturated swathes of acrylic paint. This effect is highly original and an intellectual leap from his previous works.

Even though the faces are very detailed Skip’s paintings are neither rigid nor formal. It is clear that he is an intuitive painter who trusts his instincts, using every possible variation of line, shape and color combination.

The Blue Wing Gallery is located at 405 Main St in the Downtown of Historic Woodland. Gallery hours are: Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturdays 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. We are closed on Sundays & Mondays.
